We had a very busy weekend of orienteering this weekend! Firstly we had the Northern Irish Championship held in Co.Cavan!
Laoise Doyle came 2nd on W20 and Julien Beuken came 3rd on W20 (non competitive). Conor Short finished in 3rd place, beating DUO alumni member and brother Ruairi by just over a minute. Our president Ruth Lynam won the W21L course and DUO alumni Regina Kelly came 3rd. Also well done to DUO alumni and coach Andrew Cox who came 4th on the M40 course!
A great weekend had by all and well done to everyone who survived the gruelling training Saturday night and Sunday morning and enjoyed the talk by Scott Fraser, world renowned orienteer.
